Bootberry file rename underscore et.AL

Sun Dec 09, 2018 11:28 am

[1] Hi I am trying to rename a file in bootberry it needs and underscore as the squash image in wrong name so does not launch, at leat that is my impressions of things.

I cannot rename as the _ (underscore) key does not work, eg shift _.

none of the shift number work

So i went to console and logged in with the default root, but I can see on the left side of the screen and not sure what can be done here, there seems to be no rename, but _ works

how can I rename?

I was thinking of trying to ssh in.

[2] ALSO why does very boot use squash files its really time consuming to convert and a hassle. Eg I use berryboot because I want to put large images on a HD eg 250gig or 128 gig and then a whole bundle more small images .... very frustrating.

[3] I have changed my pi to boot from usb. I noticed an commented lin bootfrom usb = 1 in the berry boot files. If i take this out can I boot from a seperate partition on the HD????

Thanks in advance.

It looks like OP is using about 7 different spellings/names for "BerryBoot".
