I live in England and don't have any way to pay for a Raspberry Pi online. Will I be able to pay by cheque, postal order or bank transfer?

There will be methods available for offline payment, so you won't need a credit/debit card.

Thank you Bootsy. I searched the forums before I posted, but I am obviously not as good at it as you. I hope bank transfers will be possible as that service is free at my bank.

Does the same thing apply internationaly? Call me paranoid/old fashion but I just don't like purchasing online, I rather pay it when I receive it...or at the very least half and half.

remember that a lot of our customers are going to be in developing world situations where buying stuff online is not easy or even possible. We need offline payments (we don't expect many people to take them up) to serve those customers, who are very important to us.

I assume this means it will be the same across the globe.
