RealVNC Mouse Problems

Tue Feb 21, 2017 5:21 am

Hi,

I'm using my mouse left handed - primary button on the right of the mouse.

My Raspi is configured to use the mouse this way

My Win10 machine is configured to use the mouse like this.

But when I open RealVNC Viewer on my Win 10 machine, the mouse requires right handed use.

I can't find a setting in either the Raspi Server settings or the Win10 viewer settings to correct this.

Please help!

Thanks
Nico

PS: RealVNC - GREAT JOB!

Hi,

Your mouse buttons are being swapped twice: inside win10 and inside pi so you end up with the mouse set as in the beginning. You will need to disable mouse swap on one of the machines to make it work (I did it on the pi and it works fine now).

Thanks!

It works.

But still a nuisance as I need to change the settings on the Pi depending if I work remote or local :D

Will report as an issue to RealVNC :D
