It would mean the world to me if one of you could port this to the R-Pi and send the binaries to qkumber1@gmail.com

It would be better if you were to do it yourself and give any required patches back to the opentyrian project. After all, Pi\'s about learning, right?

No, that doesn\'t sound very helpful, but it\'s all about getting people to take responsibility. Of course, if you don\'t want to make the effort to do it yourself, I am personally willing to help, but that will require 2 things. The first being a Raspberry Pi board, and the second being an incentive to do it. The first will take time, and the second - well - I\'ve found that money makes a reasonable incentive. I charge a particularly reasonable 80 euros/hour (rounded up to the nearest unit) plus VAT at 17.5%, and assuming I need to do something other than \"make release\", I won\'t charge you for any bugs I fix unless they are required to actually make the game work. Deal?

Yes, I *am* a sarcastic bastard.

I\'ve had a quick look at the code and there doesn\'t seem to be anything x86 specific in there. So it should just be a case of checking it out and making it. The only issue seems to be that the data files are only available from a single host, which is currently down.

Given the list of platforms it\'s been successfully built for, I can\'t see any reason why it shouldn\'t run on the Pi.

Actually, it\'s 19.6% (French rate), I was mixed up with the old UK rate. But I\'ll stick to my quote and eat the difference...

Where I\'m at, the TOTAL Taxes come to nearly 50+ percent. The joys for computing and paying the Tax Man yourself, means you know how deep the reach is into your pockets. I could start sounding like a spam message on all the little taxes that get charged. Rather than one big tax, we get the 8% here, 15% there, and then sales taxes, plus Income taxes, and use fees, ...

Sorry your picked at a sore, and got me going.

Oh I got ya beat - Here in Atlanta, where traffic is HORRIBLE, we have to pay a yearly tax to the county for registering our vehicles, based on value of the vehicle. Then they tax us for the gas used (state+federal) which is supposed to go to road maintenance. Then the state got a grant (paid for by our taxes) to put in a carpool lane back in the early 90\'s prior to the 96 Olympics. Now they go and get ANOTHER grant from the Fed (again paid by our taxes) to convert all the carpool lanes over to TOLL lanes, and then they\'re going to CHARGE ME AGAIN to actually USE them!!!!

Only in America.... sigh...
