Recommend small display

Fri Sep 16, 2016 9:20 pm

I want to buy small display dedicated to my Pi. I am not sure whether it be "native" Pi LCD like: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311390958183 or standard mini display with HDMI port like http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231788386390

Last thing that I found is this - plain LCD with HDMI: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221804067453
There are good 10" IPS displays but they are more expensive.

I would recommend either the official RPF display: https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/ra ... h-display/ or any HDMI screen.
I would NOT recommend a SPI screen as in your first link or any other screen which requires special drivers or custom OS images. I would not call that a "native" RPi screen.
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated Raspbian Buster w/ Desktop OS.
