What feature are we talking about?
And yes I did see the link. It mentions about 4GB of RAM - which doesn't make sense.
You are looking at the wrong post - it's Eben's one above that.

So, Monday is production day - producing more zeros.
There will be no new features then.

How do we get durum without harvesting it?
And eggs.

It was Americans who paid to travel to Scotland to take part in a haggis hunt.

They were told the haggis was a creature with shorter legs on one side so it could run around hillsides.

This thread is a divide by pi zero error.

Given the vast array of ideas humans have put their trust in over the millenia, the virgin birth, heaven and hell, the healing power of crystals, monster cables, bitcoin, etc, etc. It's amazing the human race has survived as long as it has.

In the face of all that the spaghetti harvest seems totally reasonable.

Stelath mode will now be TURNED OFF at the factory so you can actually *SEE* a Pi-Zero on a store shelf??

Yes! There will be Zero production on Monday! Perhaps as soon as the following Monday, there will be Zero in stock!

Lets face it whatever the RPT undertake to increase production or even add no cost extras, it will still not be good enough for some people

Over in the other thread EU says chip revision and in a related event "I saw a nearly complete USB mass storage boot on Raspberry Pi 3 today."

The pi zero as it is is good enough for me so any new features are just an extra bonus.

Audio output would be pretty cool though.

What are you talking about? Serious communications issues here. Is there a ghost in the machine?
I followed liz's link and your advice about the "above" post by eupton, and he said new production on monday. and no mention of new features.

To thank you for your patience, we've taken advantage of the hiatus to add a (much requested) new feature. I'll leave you all to guess what it is (it's not WiFi).

..could the new feature be Boot from USB, as firmware has been mentioned, obviously VC4 with an updated BootROM would be required in the BCM2835 SoC ??

Well if they've got through the old stock of 2835's (and the ones in the first Zeros were quite old), and have to make a new batch, then you might as well update the bootrom if it's cheap enough to do.

It's not cheap enough yet.
(from that other thread)

That would make the FSM reasonable also.

My guess is that the power socket USB may be a bit more than just a power input.

Am I correct?

Presumably they are going to add an enhancement to the Zero. Not cripple it.

I think 4Gb of memory should be the standard amount of RAM for the Zero :)

In detail: RUN header finds its final resting place & moved to match RPi3 location. That same header extended to a 2x6 connector with TV plus GPIOs 34-41 - fits nicely between the mounting holes on the right. GPIO 34-39 for SDIO (WiFi module not included), 40/41 giving raw audio or 2nd serial options.
