These are the official forums. There's also one on XDA Developers for the Pi too.
I'm happy to help.

Isn't there a Google one as well. That just seemed to be an advertorial the last time I looked. I had not heard of the Reddit forum. Link?

Well I think Reddit is better suited to sharing news and updates faster, whilst these forums are great for support and discussions?

Just my 5 cents (they banned one and two cent coins here ;-) )
I had the idea for a single board computer in every seat on airplanes... but it all just seemed a bit Pi in the Sky!

What is google ?

:)

Joking aside, when I have a Pi question to ask I go to bing or whatever and google it, mostly the links returned point to this forum or stackoverflow/stackexchange. You can see for yourself, try "wifi setup jessie raspberrypi" or "install node js raspberry pi".

I don't ever recall being directed to reddit.

I wouldn't call that (reddit) a forum at all. Organization into Categories etc. is completely missing -and it's so slooooooow ....

This forum, where all the Pi devs and employes hang out, and where you get lots of other smart experienced Pi users helping out.

Or Reddit.

Does that relate to my post above? I was talking about reddit, of course-

Also a facebook group or two:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/raspberry.pie/

One thing that has been banned or discouraged on here is discussion about android on pi,
best goto google groups for that:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/android-rpi
Android app - Raspi Card Imager - download and image SD cards - No PC required !
