There's mumblings in some underground Pi-cifist circles about starting a Jobs-like cult of personality around Eben. We'll need posters. My pet idea: a spoof of an Apple ad, with Eben in a colorful flowery turtleneck and one of those english caps with flaps. Caption: geek, not chic.

I have an authentic English deerstalker hat. I keep it handy for when I have a particularly difficult debugging problem that requires a lot of detective work. Putting it on helps me channel Sherlock Holmes.

I also have a pith helmet in case the task involves exploring, which is often the case with free (libre) software.

I don't consider either to be a geek hat. Geek hats have solar-powered propellers.

I would describe that as an ECO-geek hat.

One of those thin, soft feel t shirts with the Raspberry pi logo would be awesome. I don't know the specific material blend but I think it might be 50% polyester, 37% cotton, and 13% rayon.

Good grief.

Liz,
can you make me a T-shirt ASAP which says:
"NO! I don't know when the final boards will be available!"
That saves me a lot of time when I walk through the company.

What about lanyards?
Anyone suggest mouse mats?
USB sticks
SDCard wallets
Woolly hat
Tshirts (long and short sheeved)
Hoodies (I dont have an ASBO but hoodies are warm and comfortable, and "yoofs" like 'em)
Novelty Stress reliever slice of pie
Novelty stress reliever raspberry pie logo
key fob (the foamy rubbery type seem popular these days)

the list goes on

Myself, I'd love to see the following (some of which have already been suggested, admittedly);

Iron-on embroidered patches of the logo as used at the top of the website.

T-shirts, especially long-sleeved ones (I love those, and they're not offered as a promotional item nearly as often as I'd like).

Lanyards are always useful!

SD Cards (both blank and with pre-installed OSes for the Pi) and USB flash-drives are a must. (Bonus points if the flash-drives are those silicon-cased ones and are shaped like the logo. :P)

Hats, such as beanies or baseball caps - or both. Propellor beanie optional.

Raspberry Pi-branded keyboards and mice. It would be especially nice if a compact "laptop-style" keyboard was an option, in addition to a full-size/full-width one (am I the only one who far-and-away prefers the compact type?). It would be even cooler if these had Raspberry Pi logos screen-printed on the super-key, but just including a sticker for it instead would be just fine!

Raspberry Pi-branded USB hubs of various types would be very good to have, too. I'd definitely pick up a powered ten-port one if it were available with the branding, myself.

I also really like the previously-suggested idea of a Tux beanie plush with the Raspberry Pi logo embroidered on his belly, a shirt, or wherever.

That's all I can think of off of the top of my head. I would definitely buy all of these. :P

What merchandise would you like to see? What would you use specifically for geeking out at home, and what would you wear proudly in public or display in the office? And how many of you would wear a raspberry-colour t-shirt?
A t-shirt is a must - but you should use a good quality one.

The other thing I'd like to see is a set of replacement keys for the keyboard, so I can remove the "windows" keys and have raspberry branded ones (maybe even in the correct kind of raspberry pink/red).

And, of course, an RPi branded case (Probably a "case" of "Ceterum Censeo" ).

What about a 'sticker to place over the windows key'

:)
