I so relate to this, had a very old mp3 player that you just copied files in and listened, new players you have to install drivers and weird looking, slow, resource hog programs just to copy a music to the thing

Yep, VNC runs great on the iPod, even better on the iPad. I hope to be running the Raspi"s via the iPad.

It'll be android route for me, so no iPad/iThang iSale for iMe.

I'm hoping for ways to do it without a router though, will have to wait and see I guess.
