It has been said that a lecturer at a UK university expressed the opinion that a good engineer would be able to scavenge the land for silicon and the appropriate dopants to create their own transistors and thus circuits.
There may be evidence to say that this has been attempted already.
If you should examine Stonehenge it bears a REMARKABLE similarity to a series of FETs (Field Effect Transistor) forming a NMOS logic circuit. Therefore could form a Bit Slice Machine.
As can be seen the Stonehenge approach is definitely an Open Source approach therefore should satisfy all takers. It definitely has NO documentation so would satisfy the curious in trying to work out the Instruction Set Architecture.
It could be said that the lichen form natural traps and therefore as Stonehenge gets older it might actually get faster.
Therefore the lack of the Broadcom device should NOT form any barrier to the Open Source Community with regard to TOSSEER as they would be able to build their own compute element as the British were able to do 5000 years ago.
Also note that the stone came from Wales, thus again showing that Flintshire is on the cutting edge of Neolithic Technology !
