Your Pi Zero config

Fri Jul 19, 2019 6:30 pm

Is GPU size important for something?
How do you watch YT videos? Convert them to MPEG 2 + It can do 720p max with no acceleration anywhere or it goes more?
What is your recommended config.txt?
Is there CZ QWERTY keyboard? Not Czech just (QWERTZ)?
Linux is like woman - both wants 180 % of your time...
You want speed Java 9.8x? Throw it out of some Window(s)!
My girlfriend is terribly unmature - she always sinks my boats in bathtub!

For the keyboard look in configure under keyboard. I do not see a Czech Keyboard in the list, so you may have to create your own keymap for it.

To download Youtube videos you use murnong:
http://www.users.on.net/~belles/software/murnong/

And save the Youtube page to the Murnong IconBar Icon.

To convert the video you use the !FFMPEG application that Murnong requires, it is point and click, pretty self explanitory.

720p would be max on an RPi 3B. On the Zerro you are looking at 720i max, I usually stick with 480p. There is someone working on a player that could do 1080p on the RPi in RISC OS, though I forget who (and there are a lot of sites to look through to re-find that).

I hope that answers most of your questions.

It should be 64, like it is by default in the config/txt that comes with the RISC OS Pi distrobution.

If you mean "gpu_mem=16" in /boot/config.txt, then yes - if you are using Raspbian Lite - that's fine.

As DavidS says, for graphics, 64 or more is needed.
Wrong OS. While it takes some paying attention (at what sub forum we are in), the OP is talking about RISC OS.

A clue is that in RISC OS the config/txt file is in:
SDFS::0.$.!Boot.Loader.CONFIG/TXT
