I have been using RISC OS on a Raspberry Pi 2 since February. Currently RISC OS 5.23.
In fact, as I happen to have a spare monitor, I have just bought another Raspberry Pi 2 so that I can I have a separate Linux machine without having to fiddle with micro-SDcards.

Hi guys,

I run RISC OS Pi (I think it's version 5.21) on a Pi model B+. However, this SD card isn't recognised by my new RPi 2 model B (it only boots as far as the rainbow screen).

Is there a way to upgrade the RISC OS installation on the SD card so that I can use RISC OS on my RPi 2? Importantly, I need to keep it compatible with the model B+ too.

Cheers,

Aidan.

Probably the easiest way is to copy everything off to a usb flash-drive / thumb-drive / other-name-for-the-same-thing, then put a brand new image on your SD card.
The latest image should work for all Pi's from the oldest original B to the latest 'n' greatest 2B (and the Zer0, though I can't vouch for that as I don't have one)

Then you can copy back the things you want.
