As with the Beta3, F18 RC1 V5 seemingly perpetually boots both my 256MB and 512MB Raspberry PIs.
We are not amused. :(

Hi Rhoaste,

Can you provide me with some more information on what exactly is happening?

I downloaded the F18 RC1V5 Pi Remix, uncompressed it, and wrote it to a bog-standard Sandisk class-4, 4GB SDHC card. I am using the same method to write the SDHC card image (Win32DiskImager) that I have previously and since used successfully with F17 Pi Remix.

With the F18RC1V5 Pi Remix, the system seems to initialise, shows the colored screen, then the Raspberry Pi logo. After that, the system reboots, and continues to exhibit this behaviour perpetually. The whole event takes just a few seconds. This functionality seems to be the consistent on both my 256MB and 512MB devices.
