Network Printer

Thu May 07, 2015 10:44 pm

I have just installed Fedora 21 Mate with Berryboot on a Pi2B. I am trying to get my network printer working with it. It finds the printer. I put in the recommended driver and when I printed a test page it resulted in this message printed:
ERROR NAME
undefined
COMMAND:
-12345X@PJL
OPERAND STACK:

I tried the two other printer drivers that it found for this printer - both lock up the printer screens - they cannot be closed and Fedora has to shutdown or restart to get out of it.
Also - with the first driver, it took a very long time sending the test page to the printer - in fact the printer printed this error page at 40%.

I am not sure what to do to correct this. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

To add to this - I cannot delete this printer. The delete in its menu is greyed out. I also cannot add another printer - the Add + is greyed out.

Really could use some help. Thanks!
