Autologin on Fedora XFCE

Thu Sep 26, 2019 11:36 pm

Just installed Fedora Workstation 30 XFCE on my Pi 3, and I'm wondering how to make it log in automatically. Apparently, I have to make lightdm autologin, because XFCE doesn't start until it receives a login. However, the following edits to /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf did nothing:

Code: Select all

autologin-guest=false

Code: Select all

autologin-user=$nerdykyogre

Code: Select all

autologin-user-timeout=0
This is the only solution I've found for autologin on xfce, but I'm still getting a login prompt at startup, which I don't want. Is there something I'm doing wrong here or a better solution?
