Wed Aug 28, 2013 3:12 pm

Hello,

Any one already tried the touchscreen from eGalax to work with Raspberry Pi ?
I downloaded the new Raspbian “wheezy” image and also downloaded from here the drivers:

I already tried those one:

eGTouch_v2.5.3120.L-x
eGalaxTouch_3.07.6014-32b

Aparently pluging this touchscreen input device USB in another PC with ubuntu 12.04.3 Lts the pointer is mouving.

I would appreciate any help installing this drivers for Raspberrypi.

You would need drivers that are specifically targeting the Pi version of the ARM processor, and none of those on the link you gave appear to do this. You would probably need the source code to the drivers so that they can be rebuilt for the pi.

The majority of ARM devices use ARMv7 architecture, hence the drivers support.

The Pi has ARMv6 architecture, have you searched the forum for previous postings, see:

Searching is easy, most questions have been asked before !
