I found a car DVR (global navigation gn220), which has a small display. I want to connect this display to my rpi 2 b v1.1.
This is a 2.5 inch 320x200px TFT LCD with 40 pin connector.
On first and second pic related there is this display connected to some chip (H185D_LCD_V1.0), which it uses as an adapter to 17 or 20 (I can't understand) pin connector to connect to the main board.
On the third and fourth pic related there is main board. I highlighted with red ellipse the display connector on the board. MCU signed as "H76525S-1216".
Sorry for the dirt on the board, i can't clean out it.
So the question is there a some not very hard way to connect this display to rpi through DSI port?
And also I googled and find some results about 40 pin display connection to rpi, but they all about LCD with touch screen connection, and my display as I know from working with this DVR has no touch screen feature. First 14 pins (maybe less or more) of 40 pin connector are not connected to the H185D_LCD_V1.0 chip. Is it possible, what this display has a not connected touch screen or 40 pin connector is just standard for displays like this, which allow touch screen connection?
