How 2nd UART based on I2C, SPI or USB ?

Thu Jun 13, 2019 7:46 am

Can you guide me?
I'm looking for a 2nd hardware based serial interface available.
I would like to avoid software based solutions and simply look for an existing HAT or e.g. USB2UART which provides a 2nd set of TX/RX signals.
Google offers a lot but the results are either EOL or only the other way around (accessing a RPi with a PC with a USB2SERIAL).
Would be great if you can refer an existing (not EOL) off-the shellf solution to have a second set of serial TX/RX signals available!
Preferably existing which prevents the need of writing drivers ;-)
Thanks!

Have a look here http://www.pridopia.co.uk/ixx-rspi.html

2 port, 4 port and 4 port with RTC listed with prices.
Need Pi spray - these things are breeding in my house...
