Recording AND streaming

Sun Dec 15, 2013 3:15 pm

I have successfully managed to stream using...

raspivid -o - -t 0 -w 720 -h 576 -fps 25 | cvlc stream:///dev/stdin --sout '#standard{access=http,mux=ts,dst=:8090}' :demux=h264

I tried adding filename.h264 after -o but this did not work!

Can anyone tell me how to record while streaming?
As humans we have been the same for a very very long time, technology changes how we do... not who we are as people.

You can do it all on the command line by splitting the stream and directing one part to stdout (and hence stream it), and one to a file. Use the 'tee' command.
