Problem numbering still filenames

Sun Jun 16, 2013 2:05 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to make a simple time lapse video but am having a problem which I can't find mention of elsewhere.

If I enter the following:

raspistill -o still_%04d.jpg -t 999999999 -tl 10000

I get the following error:

Invalid command line option (still_%04d.jpg)

What should I do?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think this

Code: Select all

raspistill -o still_%04d.jpg -t 999999999 -tl 10000
Should be

Code: Select all

raspistill -o still_%d_04.jpg -t 999999999 -tl 10000
Think it's just %d but not able to test right now this should put 04.jpg at the end of filename remove _04 if you don't want that naming. Hope it helps and works.

I think you should read this. I suspect a wrong character somewhere like 0 instead of o or something.
