The panel powers a 5.5v regulator (you can just make it out, small PCB lower right hand side of the photo) which in turn powers the RPi. You couldn't use this as is as your RPi would be rebooting every time a cloud came over. It needs a battery and that means it will also need a battery charge monitor, type depending on what battery technology you use.recantha wrote:What are you powering with it? Just wondering because my current set-up is a Pi with a 5V 3.5" lcd rearview camera screen and it would be handy to be able to run the whole thing off of it.
