Adding a Web Interface to a HDMI Switcher

Sun Sep 22, 2013 11:06 pm

Thought i'd post up my first completed, working project! Just added a nice simple Web Interface to my HDMI switcher, so I can switch inputs from the comfort of [wherever!] without the need to track down the tiny little remote that i seem to lose on a constant basis. It runs off of my existing RaspBMC install, and seemed like a logical extension to a Home Theatre setup, where pretty much everything has a Web Interface or Mobile App. This was the last piece of the puzzle!

This project, board and code should serve as a useful example for controlling most devices using a simple relay too. The schematic is the basic Relay controlling one found around the net, but it's missing from my page at the moment- I hope to get that draw up and added for completeness soon, as well as a few other bits and pieces.

Enjoy :)

Hi, Documentation and Board Fabrication link are not working anymore. I know the post is very old but I've not found switcher even today that has the web interface and thinking about to do it by myself from RPI zero... Do you still have the content that used to be under these links? Thanks

if you check archive.org the docs are available and the link to the board fab seems to be valid
