Raspberry Pi Mac 128k-style case idea.

Sun Jun 16, 2013 5:25 pm

Hey, I have an idea. I havent actually built it/got the parts, because I'm 10 and funds are a problem. But does anyone remember the Mac 128/512k/Plus etc? I was thinking, build a similar case out of Lego, and where the keyboard plugged in round the front there'd be a 4-port USB hub. Also, I could have an internal 4-plug power wall (USB hub, monitor, pi, and a spare for say, a speaker?) I think it's a good idea, and I'll see if I can go get LDD (Lego Digital Designer) to work...

EDIT: I meant on my PC, to design a case :P

Neat - wish I had a vintage Mac :) All I have is an eMac and a Macintosh clone from the '90s.

Also, a bonus of using LEGO is you can make specialized compartments without damaging old tech.
