Web Server

Sat Mar 23, 2013 10:51 pm

Hello,
Just thought I would share my latest project. A raspberry pi as a webserver for multiple sites.

I have been successful setting this up and I will be writing a tutorial in the coming days :)

Any feedback would be appreciated.

No offense, but this can be achieved vía the virtualhost feature on all common webservers

Cut James some slack there's no need to be rude. It may be easy and commonplace to you but totally new to him or to somebody looking for somthing to try out on the RPi.

I built a basic LAMP server on my RPi something thats easy to do on any PC with a Linux install after a couple of days I wiped the SD but it was interesting at the time and a couple of people used my notes from the Wiki.

Just because something is not new does not invalidate it as a learning experience and writing it up can improove the ability to remember the lesson.
Noob is not derogatory the noob is just the lower end of the noob--geek spectrum being a noob is just your first step towards being an uber-geek ;)

If you find a solution please post it in the wiki the forum dies too quick
