...no - and continually asking doesn't make it any quicker either :o

Nothing will make it any quicker, this is just something else to be swept under the carpet.

What do you mean, by that? And what else has been "swept under the carpet." according to you?

Call it months, that would be a much more reasonable assumption than the other choices.
the other choices you mention, are clearly born out of wishful thinking, rather than reasoning.
over two years ago, I was hesitating to say "years", instead of "months", sadly it seems "years" was indeed the more reasonable assumption. :(

I don't know why, I have my ideas, but won't speak up here....
Hopefully whatever is holding up the displays can be resolved....

the lack of any statement from the foundation as to why they are delayed or when they are likely to be available is very disappointing.

Even a non-committal statement would be better than no stat3ement at all (I'll regret saying that)

I don't think asking for an update on status once every few months is too much.

Perhaps this thread needs to be locked now too?

it matter not what they say
if they posted each month saying
not yet
what has that achieved ?
rs / E14 will probably be the faster place to find out info when it is ready

I disagree, it does matter what they say. They may say - "actually we have given up on this idea" and I'll know to not waste my time waiting for it any longer.

If they announce "we are waiting to overcome this particular hurdle..." then I might be a little more understanding.

However, you are correct in saying "Not yet" every month would be quite useless - but that is how it stands now - an implied "not yet" through their silence.

I would not get away with not answering my customers questions. My software isn't always on time but I do always provide feedback to my customers.

I'm really pleased about today's announcement but now it is the turn of the foundation to wait for me.

I have too many projects on the go and my wife will not be happy if I spend more money just now.

Payday though :D
