Digital video book

Sat Dec 01, 2018 11:28 pm

My Idea is to creat a book with a screen inside it simaler to the video greeting cards, I was thinking about using a pi zero or zero W but it seems that another attachment is requiered in order to have audio so seems to be pointless, can any one tell me rather if this is true and if so what woukd be the best board to use for such a thing, the screen woukd be a no bigger then a 7" lcd and woukd also need to have a fully functional keyboard for input, this woukd be able to play prerecorded video and audio as well, the book woukd be like the python code to create a book for a child and video message option or video for fun or even be able to just load a digital copy of a dvd to be watched, but just really have no clue what other boards would be suitable for such a project.

You can add a few passive components to get analogue audio from a Zero(W). Essentially the same as the other RPis with a 3.5 mm jack.

Put "raspberry pi zero analog audio" into a search engine.
