Digital Picture Frame as composite video?

Thu Oct 11, 2012 4:00 am

Well, I have a few older digital picture frames and i figured maybe I can convert one into a monitor for my Pi. Anyone have any experience with this? I am no electronics expert but i can get my way around. Anyone have an idea on how to achieve this?

Thanks!

I had a digital photo frame which accepts video input via RCA to 3.5mm cable.
It worked like a charm with Raspberry Pi. I intend to use it to monitor my facebook/twitter feeds, or as a constant display of my ip camera video feed. :)

cheers

Hi Mo,

I'm very interested in finding a digital picture frame to use as a display... but I can't seem to find one with inputs other than the SD or USB. What is your frame's make/model?

Thanks,

Adan
