video monitoring surveillance

I am looking for a way to setup a video surveillance system around my house and run it through raspberry pi does anybody know if this is possible???????

Have a look at motioneye.

It's a front end for motion.
Really easy to setup with great features.

Why shouldn't it? The only problem with the PiZW is that it doesn't have the four core processor with 10 times the grunt of the original Pi1B that you get in a Pi3B. For a $10 machine with WiFi you can't go wrong.

Which raspberry pi does not have wifi at all so I can figure out which one to purchase????

Only the Raspberry Pi 3B & Zero W have WiFi ;)

Maybe a RPi 2B version 2.1 would suffice, it has the same Quad-Core CPU as a 3B but underclocked:
