3.5" Dalian Good Display

Mon Oct 17, 2016 12:45 am

There is this one screen that is sold by this place called Dalian Good Display, and it has VGA. I was wondering how would I go about solder/wiring it to the Raspberry Pi ? And how would I be able to make it run off 5v? I doubt people would know much about that though, because I don't think anybody has used this screen before.

Here is the screen: http://www.buy-lcd.com/index.php?route= ... TT035KDH03

Why do you want to spend so much money for such a small screen? And: this is not VGA (640x480pixel) resolution, it's just QVGA - 320x240pixels.
In addition you would need i.e. a HDMI to VGA adapter. For running it from 5V you will need a step-up DC/DC

Better spend your money for something like i.e. https://www.adafruit.com/products/2441 if you're after a small screen

The Dalian screen costs less than the Adafruit one though. Thats why I was looking at in the first place, it doesn't cost as much... :?:
