Si4703 direct output

Sat Aug 06, 2016 9:22 pm

Hi folks :)

I got a Si4703 and I am wondering if it is possible to get the audio signal direct to the pi, via the GPIOs (I2C?). I don't want to use the cable output as I need the input of the USB sound card for the microphone. Does anybody know something about it?

Cheers

Typically the i2c bus is used to set and read the chip's registers. Normally no way to get audio data reliably over i2c, unless it is low bit rate and the chip is setup to do that.

Check the Ultra 2 sound card - use our shop instead of Amazon Europe (Amazon USA is live).
