If the ethernet interface is on USB, is your question even relevant ?

Why not explain why you think you need/want to do this.

Hi,

I need to have higher prio because we lose ethercat frames on receiving because the ethercat master is running in a prio/Task context
higher than the irq's are handled.
This is what I know and I try to change.

So i check which is the usb iqr by
cat /proc/interrupts
and then try to change the prio with:

sudo chrt -pf 70 62
But i fear this does not work because
cat /proc/interrupts
does even show still the same prio for the usb irq
So maybe i'm totally wrong to do this that way?
Any suggestions?
