Waterproof Ultrasonic Distance Measuring Sensor

Wondering if this "TE501" 5v sensor will work "off the shelf" with Pi/Raspbain in much the same way as HC-SR04 sensors do?

Anyone know of a tutorial or code examples/wiring?

It looks like you wire it just like a HC-SR04 and use the same software.

Maybe but if you look at one of the photos of the back there is a small jst socket??

I really think that is irrelevant (unless you have a JST plug you want to use).

So its not a maybe for a 12v supply for the single sensor or sounder or display or....?

EDIT, just discovered that the jst IS the connector for the sensor to the board! :shock:
