In a public place so can't listen to the audio ... but this video is awesome even on mute. Looking forward to watching it again with sound.

Yes this is the mechanics I have used to cut out the parts and to engrave the logo on top of it. I used 2 svg files: the first one with the logo for the first pass and a second file without the logo to cut out the parts by another 3 steps, bringing the drill some deeper after each pass.

Hi, HomoFaciens,

The Mars robot rover video is very humorous. The printer project is good. How long time you build that printer?

Now, my second video about the Raspberry Pi (and the Arduino Uno) is online:
English version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Qumu2h8 ... 6fKBtBMXoQ

German version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgLm4ZXc ... 6fKBtBMXoQ

It's explaining in more detail what physical computing can do. It's made of more than 800 files with more than 17GB of data.

Additionally I have overhauled the project page:

Enjoy!

I have built a tiny WLAN plotter from two old optical drives, a servo and of course a Raspberry Pi:

Get the detailed instructions at:

The large one is disassembled meanwhile. I am building a new one instead with an improved mechanics - stay tuned.

Now, Curiosity Pi transmits a live video stream from my RoboSpatium:

Tell me if it works properly - thanks!
