How can I set a VPN up?

Sat Feb 02, 2013 2:48 pm

I tried PPTP but it wouldn't work - my iPod touch said it couldn't connect to my Raspberry Pi.

What's the easiest way of setting a VPN up?

I have a Model B rev 2 Pi running Raspbian. It's running as DMZ host, so port forwarding isn't a problem.

You need a Server and Client VNC solution.

On Apple iOS use VNC Viewer http://www.realvnc.com/products/ios/

If you have a fully updated Raspbian "Wheezy" Linux installed then you need the VNC Server installed, Tight VNC Server is available from the repository.
I will always assume you are running Raspbian for desktop and Raspbmc for XMBC !

That's for connecting to already existing VPNs. I want to create a VPN myself and connect to it.

I always use this as a guide:

Mimi: Where'd you come from?
Doyle: My mom and the authorities are still trying to figure that out.

Without any error during installation? And are you sure it isn't somewhere else or hidden?
