Making a proxy with Squid

Tue May 14, 2019 7:00 pm

Hello guys.
I have a config problem in my raspberry pi 3.
I need to use an ethernet port to access my raspberry with fixed IP and I need to configure a 4g modem in a USB port with fixed IP too.

I'll to use that raspberry like an internet proxy. For this, I'm using the squid to redirect the traffic to the 4g modem.

I'm using raspbian OS to try this solution.
This is my network configuration:

Code: Select all

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
    gateway guys.

auto usb0
iface usb0 inet static
So, I want to redirect this traffic using a proxy. Every PC that uses the IP to go out will use the modem(usb0) to access the internet.

Code: Select all

When I can configure the ethernet port correctly, I can't access the 4g internet and vice versa.

I think that a route configuration will resolve but I could not make it work until now.

Someone could help me?

I'm having the exact same issue. Did you manage to make this work? Anyone else has an idea?
