Timeout functionality in "vncviewer" ?

Sun Oct 01, 2017 11:03 pm

I'm running Real VNC viewer and server under Raspbian Jessie.

I've noticed that if I launch the viewer and leave it idle, after some time, it disappears (process is gone as seen in a "ps" listing).

Is there some parameter in the viewer settings that needs to be adjusted to prevent this timeout from happening?
If this post appears in the wrong forums category, my apologies.

Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated Raspbian Buster w/ Desktop OS.
