Xbian setting external HDD to sleep

Im currently running Xbian with all my media on an external HDD, Xbian makes my external HDD continuasly spin, even when its not in use, how do I sleep my external HDD when it's not in use?

not that I know of, you won't have all the fancy powersaving options like a laptop has but it should help you with the hdd
although now that I think of it, external via USB might not be as easy to power down, so see this maybe: https://raw.github.com/liyan/suspend-us ... usb-device
