Compatible USB Controllers - Emulators/XBMC

Mon Jul 09, 2012 2:44 pm

Hey guys,

i'm looking at building a mini arcade/nintendo box out of my cute little pi.

are there any usb controllers that are currently compatible?
something like this http://goo.gl/Davbh? (shortened links; read: ebay store)
or even an "arcade stick" that is compatible with the raspberry pi?

on this note, are the emulators that run on XBMC running okay on the Pi?

Thank you.

This Xbox 360 USB controller thread may be of interest to you.

There's also quite a bit of buzz around the Snes emulator project which uses a Snes pad modified to run via the GPIO pins.

My post should work with PS3 pad, you just need to edit the xboxdrv keymap so it converts PS3 pad controls to a keyboard shortcut. Downside, you need the cable plugged in.

Not sure if bluetooth PS3 pad works.
