Console installer screens?

Tue Aug 20, 2013 7:18 pm

Hi all,

I've noticed on various linux installations, and even when you first boot the Raspberry Pi, you get a standard installer/config screen, like this:

My question is how do I make a custom one of these screens, and have it show every time the Pi boots, allowing the user to change the config and select a startup script to run?

Thanks!

That one you post specifically is created by a program called "whiptail" called from a shell script called "raspi-config", there is another similar program called "dialog".
