If you are still having trouble then the first two questions that spring to mind are
  • Which OS are you using?
  • Which module are you trying to install?
Knowing the OS will help determine if everything required to build a module is present and the knowing which module you are trying to install will help determine what needs to present to build the module.

Thanks for the reply

The OS I am using is wheezy and I am trying to install modules like LWP and Twitter::Badge (retrieves twitter status) and a module that updates twitter status', and a module called Weather::Underground

Is there anything I can do without having to manually install every module and every dependency?

Thanks,
Ethan

To install LWP just use

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install libwww-perl
To install the other two you will probably have to use the CPAN module. Use

Code: Select all

perl -MCPAN -e'shell'
to open a CPAN shell, let it auto configure if possible. Once you have the CPAN shell you can then install using

Code: Select all

install Weather::Underground
and

Code: Select all

install Twitter::Badge
Of course there are always a few modules that won't work on arm architecture as they contain code that only works on x86.
