Automatic refresh of map

Hi to all, I need some help about automatic map refreshing.

In short I draw map and I add locations, stations and earthquake.

I would like to periodically update map (every second) but I haven't still understood how do it.

Taking a look to auto-refresh plots I can see several examples about automatically replot, but all using x-y instead maps....
Any ideas?
