Communication between pc and raspberry

Mon Jun 26, 2017 10:31 pm

Hi, I'd like to know where to start on programming a communication protocol between a PC and a RPi using python. I'd like my RPi reads information like a boolean to activate something and also receive data as images both via ethernet. Is it possible? wich protocol should i use?

Thanks
Jose

ZeroMQ is a message passing protocol supporting many platforms and programming languages.

Here you find server and client for starting: http://zguide.zeromq.org/py:hwserver http://zguide.zeromq.org/py:hwclient

I now use blinkt as indicator lights on one pi from other systems in my LAN, all via rpc through zeromq.

Return to “Python”
