I'd like to enter the contest but don't have a Pi yet.
Of course, I don't want to use IDLE to develop my program - I prefer to use a nice software IDE like PyScripter.
How can I open my script in the qemu to make sure it works fine on the Pi?
I know qemu is a virtual machine. And qemu is the only linux I have ever used.kobzar wrote:you dont need qemu.
qemu is virtual mashine. You needed run windows program on linux.
I'm happy with the IDE I have.kobzar wrote:But i am seriosly recommended use eclipse or Sublime text 2(with SublimeCodeintel plugin)
This is the best solution. I just modified the run.bat with the option "-redir tcp:2222::22" and used MobaXterm for copying my files with scp (same command above).PIstolero wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2012 3:43 pmssh has to be enabled (on raspbian it is) start qemu with the option -redir tcp:2222::22 then you have redirect ssh from the pi to localhost port 2222 and you can use scp for easily transfer files.
Linux: scp -P 2222 file.example pi@localhost:/tmp/file.example
(pi is the user in raspbian)
Windows: use something like winSCP and connect with localhost port 2222
