Minecraft hacking

Fri Oct 04, 2013 5:14 pm

Hi :) ,
I have seen a lot of cool projects people have done with programming in Minecraft. However I am having problems with creating folders / directories with the LXterminal , I have seen a few websites which show how to start hacking minecraft but I can't get the directories to work. Also does anyone one know some simple programming projects to do with minecraft , I have seen people have sent messages to a chat bar. Thanks :)

This was one of the websites I saw, I realised I have managed to make a new directory however I can't copy the python api library to the directory.

Another forum user, @scarabcoder, has a blog where he explains very simply how to get started.

Perhaps you could look at http://www.scarabcoder.com/minecraft-pi/ and read the 2 posts

Thank you both for replying, I have found the website links very helpful and have managed to show a message when you enter the game. :D
