ActiveX workaround for printing

I am trying to find a way to print a label. The website (not within my control) uses PrintPipe (an ActiveX control) to print an HTML label. I would like to be able to do this from a Raspberry Pi 2. Is there any way to have the website call the AX control but instead run a script or other program to make it print? I don't have the option of not calling the AX control. I am willing to learn whatever language I need to make this work and I don't have a problem with cumbersome, off the wall solutions.

ActiveX is a Microsoft technology that runs on Windows systems in Internet Explorer and Office. I don't think that you will be able to run it on a Pi

Thank you for the suggestion fruitoftheloom. Unfortunately, I could not get pipelight to install and in the process had to reinstall the OS. Not sure what I did wrong to make that happen. I'll try it again from a fresh install and see if that helps.
