Game Design

Fri Jul 27, 2012 7:30 pm

Hello,

I'l cut the story and say that basically my friend bet me £15 that i could make an entire video-game on the pi. :roll:

The problem is that i have no idea how i would be able to do this so i will list my problems;

I am only 11 and don't understand python
I don't know how I would even design the game and put the graphics and what not in
how to program with python...

Basically I have no clue :?

I am looking for someone who has perhaps had experience in this type of thing before and is maybe a pi pro :ugeek: but can put stuff simply. As well as answer my nooby questions.

Please Can anybody help :!: :!: :!:

Hi Dragoonx50,
A good place to start would be Liam Fraser's Raspberry Pi Tutorials videos.
This website has some great stuff on making games in Python:Professor Craven
You could also have a look at some of the posts on my blog. This one has a sample program that does sound, key-presses and simple animation.

Oh, you'll get lots of help if you post in the Python sub-forum!
