LM75 temperature sensor not working

Mon Jul 08, 2019 12:15 pm

Hi,

I’ve just built a new Jessie image for my Pi3, whilst doing this I found that my LM75 temperature sensor is not longer being correctly identified, it does not look as if the driver is being loaded for it.

I2C is enabled and running, my RTC is working OK.

I’ve added this to /boot/config.txt & rebooted

Code: Select all

 dtoverlay=i2c-sensor,lm75
However

Code: Select all

sudo i2cdetect -y 1
Still shows “4f” rather then “UU”

I have also tried the following to force the address, but to the same end.

Code: Select all

dtoverlay=i2c-sensor,lm75,lm75addr=0x4f
I’ve raise a GIT, issue however I was wondering if the wider audience here could shed any light…

The overlay discussion was here.
