Kernel panic error at first startup pi 3 B+

I have unboxed a brand new cana kit. Formatted a new sd card as per raspberry pi instructions. Installed NOOBS. Power on pie with hdmi connected to tv. Pi gets stuck at kernel panic error(picture attached). Format said sd card with raspbian image written on it as per raspberry pi instructions. Same issue at startup. Format a different brand new sd card and try noobs and raspbian. Same issue. I have no experience with raspberry pi or any similar hardware fyi. Please help.

what are you powering your RPi?

First question would be were are you getting the SD cards from , could they be fake ?

Then what I would do is down load a new copy of the raspbian image from the web site, then I would try using a different SD card reader , especially if you are using a built in one as it may not be fully compatible with SD/HC cards.

I have purchased the sd card from this link https://www.amazon.com/your-orders/pop/ ... =DvNKrSg61. I used the sd card adapter that came with it. I will try using my usb sd card reader. The power supply I’m using is the one that came with the canakit via a 110 outlet in my apartment wall.

Well your link is no good as it asks for you account details.

If you still have problems after trying to flash your SD card again then I suggest you test the SD card with one of the programs you can find on the web for free.

So the sd card I have was advertised as class 10 but the uhc speed class displayed on the card is 1. Is this card no good?

I would test your SD cards using H2testw for windows PC or CapacityTester for a Linux PC.

There are other programs for winds if you prefer.
