Remote connection to Webcam Server

Tue Feb 12, 2019 4:05 pm

Hello all,

I followed these tutorials:

https://hackernoon.com/spy-your-pet-wit ... 1bb74f79ea
https://hackernoon.com/how-to-access-yo ... 4ab9e5bacc

to set up a webcam Server (Rpi Cam) with my Rpi Zero W

I managed to correctly connect to it inside my local network.
Now I'm trying to connect to it from outside.

I defined DNS hostname (using no-ip) to point at my modem/router IP address.
I hope I defined Port Forwarding options correctly in the router.

When I try to make the connection to the Server (any browser): http://<DNS address>:<port #>
I get the message:
"Motion 4.0 Running [1] Cameras"
"All"
empty rectangle

It's like the video straming is not coming.

Any idea? Firewall restrictions in the router or Rpi?
Thanks
