I do not walk the mouse correctly with touch screen in the Raspberry Pi 3

Fri Jan 04, 2019 8:41 pm

I installed a raspberry pi 3, a 19-inch touch screen, but I did not walk the mouse correctly.

Thanks for the help.

What do you mean by "did not walk the mouse correctly"?
I'm setting up a webpage and email server on a Pi 3B+ running Ubuntu Mate 18.10.

They probably meant that the cursor doesn't work properly.

This is in the wrong section. This section is about the Debian-based OS for x86 that uses the Raspberry Pi Desktop. Your post, however, is presumably about a touch screen display for the Raspberry Pi. There's a section for posts about touch screen here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=108

Also, that 19" screen may not be optimised for the Raspberry Pi which may be why you are experiencing issues with the cursor.

The OP is probably referring to touch screen calibration. Raspbian default has a very basic single touch driver which just moves the mouse pointer to the touch point. I tried using my 23" touch screen with USB touch interface. The calibration was OK in center of screen but got progressively worse going to the edges of the screen..Several cm out at the edges. There are touch calibration tutorials on Google but never tried as I don't normally use any RPi with the large touchscreen.
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated Raspbian Buster w/ Desktop OS.
